Picked this up for 115 SEK as a compact and quick point & shoot. I read a lot of good words about the CZ lens, that there was no shutter lag in it compared to the T4 models that succeeded it was another bonus. The viewfinder is a bit on the small side, there aren't many features, the top-down viewfinder is a cool little addition but it is small. The only problem I can ever find with the camera is that for some reason it automatically sets Flash to On after every time it's opened up and turned on.

Image quality in daylight is very good, better than all compact P&S I have ever tried and seen the results of (so no expensive Contaxes and Leicas in other words). It's cheap, if you can get a used one for around my price, you should get it. It's fully automatic plastic but sharp enough for an emergency. I'm told the hard to find T5 model is the best of the Yashica T series in all kinds of ways and that the T4s are to be avoided for the shutterlag which will get on your mind.

This is a camera you can have around for parties, it'll survive falls, bumps and the flash will always fire by default.
